EYELASH EXTENSIONS

Eyelash extensions are natural-looking, synthetic eyelashes applied one by one to each individual natural lash and is developed to mimic your natural lashes.

We offer Classic and Russian Volume eyelash extensions. Classic eyelash extensions consist of a 1:1 ratio, meaning each individual healthy natural eyelash you have will have an eyelash extension adhered to the base without touching the skin. Russian Volume eyelash extensions consist of a 1:2-4 ratio, meaning very lightweight synthetic lashes are fanned out and adhered to the base of each individual natural healthy natural lash.

You can expect your eyelash extension procedure for a Classic full set of eyelash extensions to be scheduled for up to 2 hours and up to 3 hours for a full set of Russian Volume eyelash extensions.

Prior to the application, your artist will conduct a consultation allowing you the opportunity to help design your customized lash look. In addition, your artist may ask questions about your health and lifestyle to ensure eyelash extensions are right for you. During the application, your eyes are closed the entire time, allowing you to rest and be pampered as your lash artist transforms your lashes to the customized lash look you and your lash artist have selected. With a variety of curvatures, lengths, and thicknesses, you and your stylist can design a tailored look to enhance your natural beauty.

LASH LIFT

The new eyelash trend in the industry offers lifted and curled lashes for up to 6-8 weeks. Elleebana Lash Lifting uses silicone pads, instead of traditional perm rollers, to give a more lifting effect from the base of the eyelash. The application time of this service takes approximately 45-60 minutes. This new treatment helps the natural eyelashes appear longer and enhance ones natural beauty with their own lashes. Please note that eyelash extensions and Lash Lifts are two separate things and two separate looks; eyelash extensions giving a mascara look and the Lash Lift is not a mascara look but curled natural lashes look.

BEFORE APPOINtMENT

It is very important to make sure all make-up residue on the eye-area and eyelashes is completely removed. If you wear contacts, please remove before appointment. Please limit the intake of any caffeine 1-2 hours prior to coming. Caffeine can cause the eyes to flutter even when the eyes are shut. It is helpful to wash your hair before coming because you want to avoid getting the lashes wet for 24 hours after your appointment.

Cosmetic Tattoo

~MICROBLADING

What is it?

Microblading, also known as 3D Brows, microstroking, Micropigmentation, Brow Embroidery, and Feathered Brows is a form of cosmetic tattoo which uses a handheld tool to insert pigment into the upper layer of the skin. The results are very natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. This method is ideal for those looking to enhance or build upon their eyebrows, along with those with minimal-to-no brows present.

PRE-PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS

Do not pick/tweeze/wax/tint/perform electrolysis  3 days before procedure

do not tan two weeks prior to service or have a sunburned face

do not have any type of facial2 weeks prior

do not work out the day of procedure(before or after)

do not have botox 3 weeks prior the procedure

do not take fish oil or vitamin e one week prior procedure(they are natural blood thinners)

do not consume caffeine or alcohol 24 hours before procedure

do not take aspirin or ibuprofen 48 hours before your procedure(blood thinners)

No children, 18 years or younger, are allowed in the working area.

*Please note that clients who are on their menstrual cycle may be more sensitive

*smoking and those who bleed a lot tends to effect healing and pigment retention

POST-PROCEDURE INSRUCTIONS-aftercare

after the procedure, gently blot the area with a clean tissue or paper towel to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day until the fluid has stopped.

day 1-7

wash daily to remove bacteria, build up of product, dirt, oils, and dead skin. (this will not remove the pigment!) gently wash your eyebrows with a very light touch with your fingertips each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap (cetaphil, Cerve, neutrogena). after gently washing the area for about 10 seconds then rinse with water making sure that all soap is rinsed off completely. To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue or paper towel. do not use any cleansing products containing acids(glycolic, lactic, or aha). apply a very tiny amount of aftercare ointment with a q-tip to the eyebrow area. be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate the area and delay healing. Clients are still able to shower during this time but avoid submerging the face(eyebrows) directly in the water.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?

The client will be given a consent form to read over, discuss, and sign. Pictures will be taken before and after the procedure. The technician will then map out the shape of the eyebrow that best suites the clients face and eye shape. Both client and technician examine, discuss and change shape of the eyebrow, if necessary. The clients brows will be waxed or tweezed of any hairs that are not desired. Then the technician will apply a topical anesthetic to the eyebrow area for about 25 minutes. During the numbing process, a color consultation will take place.  The process of the microblading will then take place by implanting the pigment with the manual tool. Also, during the microblading itself, a secondary numbing gel is applied throughout to help minimize discomfort. An ointment will be applied after the procedure is finished. The process takes between 120-150 minutes.

WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS?

The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks, at which time the true color of the tattoo is evident. Immediately following the treatment, the color will appear bold and dark, with more sharply defined lines for the first 7-10 days. After that, clients could lose up to 30-40% of the color intensity which will result in a more natural-looking brow. Swelling and redness is minimal with most clients, and will most likely subside within 24 hours. The area will become itchy due to your skin's natural way of healing itself. Small scabs will form within a couple of days and should slough off naturally leaving the new skin and tattoo underneath shiny. DO NOT pick or rub the area. Please be patient and wait the full 6-8 weeks until the healing process is over. Before the 6 weeks, it may seem like the pigment has been lost but the skin can regenerate the pigment up until 6-8 weeks. Any changes or additions can be made at your touch-up appointment.

HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?

*Please note that all results CANNOT be guaranteed. Every client has different skin types that will hold the pigment differently and break down at different rates. Because the technician has NO control over what occurs during the healing process, additional sessions may be needed after the touch up appointment to obtain optimal results. Additional charges will apply in these rare cases.

Microblading will fade over time and may need a touch-up every 1-2 years. There are many factors that come into play with how frequent a client needs to come back for a touch-up, which are: pigment color used (lighter pigments tend to fade faster), sun exposure of the area, iron deficiency, and the frequency of exfoliants or chemicals that come in contact with the area. Clients with dry skin tend to have more crisp hair like strokes than a client with oily skin who tend to have a blurred "filled-in" look. This is another reason for the touch-up, when the artist can re-evaluate how the clients skin has received the pigment and make changes as needed.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?

In most cases, only the initial microblading treatment followed by the touch-up at 6-8 weeks is needed. if your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly after the first session, do not worry because this is why this is a two(possibly 3+) session procedure. if you have extremely oily skin, a smoker, or out in the sun frequently you may need touch-ups more often throughout the year.  Final results CANNOT be guaranteed as each skin type will hold pigment differently and break down at different rates. Additional sessions will be charged according to our current pricing.
